Nomo Kullager AB, part of the global industrial group Axel Johnson International, strengthens its position further on the Swedish market by acquiring S.E. Lodéns Industrimontage AB, a highly skilled technical solution provider of advanced industrial maintenance. Through the addition of Lodéns, Nomo launches a new industrial services concept.
“Lodéns with its strong focus on industrial maintenance and related services, is a perfect fit for Nomo. The addition of Lodéns is totally in line with our strategy to further grow our offering in advanced services close to our core technologies”, says Henrik Walter, CEO of Nomo.
Established in 1975, Lodéns has a strong reputation as specialists in advanced industrial services and gear drive repair in key industries such as Pulp & Paper, Steel and Mining with high availability and service level. The offering is primarily focused on heavy duty gear drives, process pumps along with bearings, seals, and other related power transmission products. The company is based in Gävle and serves mainly the Swedish MRO market, complementing Nomo’s presence in Sweden.
“I see many similarities in the way Nomo operates in the market and towards customers”, says David Rosén, Managing Director of Lodéns. “Becoming a part of Nomo and Axel Johnson International gives us the possibility to further develop the company and to take the next step in our growth journey.”
The transaction is effective as of 1 February 2022.
