The EMEA Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA) will welcome over 425 delegates and guests from 200+ leading PT/MC companies across 35 countries, and 100 new faces at its 2018 Annual Convention in London, to be held 26-28 September.

Besides a new five-year strategic roadmap, EPTDA will also launch its new Production Line Intelligence Report (PLI) on the automotive industry. This is the third in a series of intelligence reports offering meaningful insights into applications for PT/MC products in global industries, putting the focus on market expansion and business development reach.
The Association’s leaders will also underline the importance of its Antitrust Policy statement – guidelines for recommended best practices regarding the relationship between distributors and manufacturers, exchange of information, data format, and timelines of information delivery and change notifications.
This year’s keynote address features Hamish Taylor, who will put his own special twist on understanding “Trains, Planes and… Toilet Cleaners”. Hamish is an award-winning CEO and now an inspirational speaker/broadcaster whose career has taken him from international consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble, consultancy firm Price Waterhouse and British Airways to become CEO of the Channel Tunnel railway Eurostar, and then Sainsbury’s Bank…all before he was 40.
The NexGen – EPTDA’s Future Leaders – seminars will focus on “Digital Leadership in Industrial Markets”, hosted by Daniel Nill, Tom Gale and Lennart Paul. Two additional Executive Seminars will feature renowned thought leaders Marco Bertini on “Selling and Capturing Value in the Market” and Ian Heller on “The New Digital Imperative for Distributors”. A joint panel discussion with all speakers will be moderated by Cathy Smith.
EPTDA’s paperless commitment will continue in London, with all delegates and partners receiving vital information, updates, meeting alerts and other documents through the EPTDA London 2018 Convention App.
This year’s chosen charity for the Gala Dinner is Richard House Children’s Hospice, which supports children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting or life-threatening health condition.
