Dear EPTDA Members,
I hope that you and your families and loved ones are all safe and well and getting through these unusual times as best as you can.
The last 12 months have been challenging for all of our businesses and we have had to make quick decisions that may shape our companies for many years to come. EPTDA is no different and has had to make significant changes to its structure in order to keep the association sustainable for the future.
First of all I would like to inform you that Mr Hans Hanegreefs has decided to take his career in a new direction and has stepped down from his position as Executive Vice President of the organization. Hans has been a fundamental part of the EPTDA over the last 20 years and his energy and passion will be sorely missed by us all. We wish both Hans and Renu the best of luck for their adventures in the future and thank them whole heartedly for their years of dedication and service.
The start of this new ERA for EPTDA begins with the arrival of our new Head of Operations, Mr Koen Lauryssen. Koen has been a key advisor to EPTDA for many years and is no stranger to the workings and day to day operations of a non-profit organization such as EPTDA. Koen is the owner and leader of HARE Consulting, the management company employed by EPTDA for many years. We have been working closely with Koen over the last 12 months to effect a seamless transition into this new chapter and with Koen, Valentina, Vlad and the rest of the team in place, the future can only be bright for EPTDA.
EPTDA will continue to offer its members increased value over the coming months and years. We all want to get back to in-person networking and meetings as soon as it is safe and practical but until then we will make every effort to offer alternative ways to meet and share new and bright ideas. EPTDA will continue with its Leadership Academy, Power Transmission Monthly Index, Oxford Economics Forecasts, Industry leading PLI reports, Webinars and Networking Events.
EPTDA needs your support more than ever to help us achieve our goal and provide an industry association that is inclusive and welcoming to all that need it.
Des Spillings,
