Axel Johnson International’s business group Power Transmission Solutions acquires TP Nordic A/S, a well-known distributor in the Norwegian mechanical power transmission market.
“The acquisition of TP Nordic is well aligned with our strategy of geographical expansion and will strengthen our offering in stainless steel products, electric motors and products focused on markets such as marine applications and fish processing in Norway”, says Ola Sjölin, Managing Director, Power Transmission Solutions.
Founded in 2006, TP Nordic is a well-established transmission, motor and gear distributor in Norway. The company is located just north of Bergen and has a market leading position towards fish farming equipment and fishing industry. The core offering lies in stainless steel gears and electrical motors. TP Nordic also delivers complete machined parts tailored to the customers’ requirements in various materials, tolerances and surface treatments.
