Keith Johnson, our previous guest in this series, asked you if you were to move to another country, where would you want to live and why?
I´ve always enjoyed traveling and to explore new corners of the world, but to go living, I would choose somewhere familiar. Those who know me know I´m a bit of an Anglophile so I´d have to say somewhere in the United Kingdom. The small Isles to the west does it for me every time I´m there and I´ve built a network of British friends over the years. I enjoy watching footy (live), playing golf (trying), British music and I even enjoy the cuisine. There isn´t much that beats a proper Sunday roast, or a smoking hot pie accompanied with a pint of bitter.
Would you rather cook or order in?
I´m actually quite a passionate amateur cook, so in the weekends I´m usually found in the kitchen.
What would be the first thing you’d do if you won the lottery?
I would immediately book a trip around the world with my family. Being an aviation geek, I would naturally make sure the booking would have different aircraft types for each long haul leg!
What’s an essential part of your daily routine?
As a man from the north (the citizens of the Nordic countries are the biggest coffee consumers in the world / capita) it has to be the very large jug of black coffee in the morning. Anyone that met me in the breakfast room at any given convention knows what I´m talking about. Pre-coffee I´m barely approachable.
Our next guest will be Christoph Martin from the Manufacturer Council – what question have you always wanted to ask him?
If you had to choose one person that really inspired you, who would it be and why?
